My Safe Homes
This is a free program, that will run until the funding is done.

My safe homes is  a program that was started by Gloria Paradis, she applied for a grant to assist people over 60 years of age, to assist them with living at home on their own. This program is into its infancy but has already helped many people.

What is a safe home visit? It entails a detailed assessment of your home to identify risk that may cause accidents, falls, or any other injuries. Installation of CO detectors, smoke detectors, or replacing batteries in current ones, applying numbers to your house for emergencies,  place radon detectors in homes to ensure a healthy environment. Medical ID bracelets are given to those with life threatening medical problems, such as allergies or conditions and referrals are given to the different area agencies that may have services needed.

In addition, we also have pamphlets available for Living Wills and Help Line.
